    The Space Between Two Gates is the story of Nancy Landa. She was a hardworking honor roll student with a great job until her life changed dramatically. One fateful day, she was followed by ICE on her way to work and deported to Mexico. In just a few hours she was in Tijuana, Mexico. A places she had not been to for over a decade.

    Facing difficulties to continue her education in her new country, she decided to go to London and study a masters in Global Migration.

About Us

Relampago Films is an artistic collaboration between filmmakers Deni Alarcon, Jesse Such and Francisco Alarcon. We currently work on documentaries with a social focus in order to provide a better understanding of the issues that are relevant to our reality today. Our films have been screened at Cal State Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Columbia University, University of California Los Angeles, New Mexico State University, Pratt Institute, Valencia College, Golden West College. They have also been watched by hundreds of students through or educational partner streaming services. Furthermore, they have served as an point of discussion for non/profits such as the National immigration Justice Alliance screening organised by the city of Chicago.
